Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
They measure 25cm in height and have a 7.2cm square base, with an 8cm tall decorative plinth.
One figure is a young boy in a toga holding a torchere shaped vessel in one hand and grapes in the other, and the female has a long dress and is holding grapes in her upper hand and what could be a trumpet in the other.

The plinths have rows of decoration around and the candle holders are also decorated. They have proved difficult to photograph and we hope to improve on the images soon.
