Description

A stunning and elegant solid or sterling silver dish made by one of England's most famous quality silversmiths, Mappin And Webb.

The silver tray would suit either a lady or gentleman, a simple and very elegant design. The base of the tray is decorated with a stunning piece of antique tortoiseshell with highly decorative markings and colours ranging from golden champagne to deep chocolate brown.

The base is marked Mappin & Webb / London & Sheffield, there is also a full English hallmark for Sheffield 1938. Excellent undamaged condition measuring 5 1/4" in diameter.
