Michael or Whittington chimes and strikes the hour on a larger 9th tubular gong.The stunning brass dial having applied gilded, pierced and etched applications with a silver plated chapter ring with gilt Arabic numerals and etched minute track. There are 2 secondary dials of which one shows the seconds the other offering a choice chimes. Opposite the 3 and 9 are strike/silent for the tunes and strike/silent for the hours. The dial retains the original pointers and the whole is in good working order and has a wonderful tone. The tubular gongs and pendulum are nickel plated, the three weights are brass encased and the original keys are present.

The solid golden oak case having an arched top with blind fret decoration, reeded turned columns and acoustic fretted side panels.The full-length astragal glazed door shows the nickel-plated pendulum, tubular gongs and brass weights with bevel edged glass side panels. The base having fielded panels with canted corners and the stands on ogee bracket feet. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £180
