The chest is made with beautiful matched Flame Mahogany Veneers, and is decorated with geometric mouldings and cross banded insets, the top has an attractive curved edge
This is a very big chest of drawers it stands on Ogee feet and has shield shaped escutcheons the drawers run very smoothly they have brass Swan Neck handles
The chest is of good solid construction it has no creaks or woodworm and the drawers run well, and it is in good condition with age related wear, the key in the top drawer acts as a handle only as the lock does not work, the drawer interiors still have the remains of their blue sugar paper lining
The chest measures 52” high 53” wide and 22” deep
