19th Century Painted And Parcel-gilt Vitrine/display Cabinet

19th century pale-grey painted and parcel-gilt serpentine fronted glazed vitrine with Carrara marble top over a decorative frieze. The whole elaborately decorated with scrolls, mask and shell motifs, fruit and flowers, and supported on scroll feet. Serpentine shaped glazed front, and doors to either side. Mirrored back plate and mirror to base. The shaped glass shelf has a minor imperfection where a flake of glass has come away, but this is not very noticeable.
