The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover... it has quite a lot of surface scratches where the winding key has rubbed over the years.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for Chester 1878 with a case maker's mark for Alfred Bedford, Manager of the UK arm of Waltham. The back of the case has three indentations.
The watch glass is in good condition.
The double sunk enamel dial has a few hairlines in the outer ring.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
Price includes worldwide postage.
