The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The movement is signed and the serial number 17,712,555 dates it back to 1909. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold plated and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific producer of watch cases who had a close association with Waltham. The case is beautifully detailed and there is a vacant cartouche to the reverse.

The lens is in very nice condition.
The signed enamel dial is also in lovely condition.
The watch comes with a ladylike albertina, 37cm long including the clasps.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box.
