Description

A mahogany mercury wheel barometer with swan neck pediment and originial brass finial. Choice grain to the case with hygrometer, thermometer, convex mirror, main dial & level. Well engraved silvered dials. The level and main dial signed ' P Corti Exeter'.

Paul Corti of Exeter is recorded as working from 1830-1860. This example dates to circa 1840.
