Late 19th.c. Marble Top Oriental Urnstand C.1890.

Description

Superior quality late 19th.c. marble top oriental urn stand c.1890. Good large size, big enough to use as a lamp or drinks table. Unusual pink marble quatrefoil top set within a rosewood border with brass stringing and mother of pearl inlays. Geometric pierced apron to each side below which is a beautifully carved and pierced frieze featuring a large scaly dragon set within clouds. Carved floral detail to the legs, joined with a carved and pierced stretcher. Further dragon heads to the top of the legs and feet. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
