George II Walnut Bureau

Description

George II walnut bureau, with good colour and old wax patina. The quartered fall enclosing a tooled leather writing surface and an arrangement of small drawers and pigeon holes, with a central boxwood inlaid cupboard. Four lipped graduated drawers below, fitted with later brass swan neck handles. Raised on shaped bracket feet.
