Antique Gilt Sectional Oval Wall Mirror

1900 - 1920
Description

A charming antique Edwardian oval sectional gilt wall mirror. The central bevelled glass surrounded with eight panels divided by shell carved motifs. With beading to the inside and outside of the mirror sections and a molded outer perimeter.

Construction/Wood:

Gesso, wood

Condition Report:

Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Glass appears original, inner plate is bevelled. Gilding has been overpainted at some point, but has aged nicely. Lots of old repairs to the delicate gilded beading.
