Edwardian Mahogany Desk Chair

1900 - 1920
Description

An elegant antique Edwardian chair in mahogany. A good quality chair with carved oval shaped back splat, dipped seat rail and tapered legs. In figured mahogany, the drop-in seat has been newly reupholstered. Solid and sturdy, would make a superb dressing table chair or desk chair. Stamped underneath with the initials; “JHH”.

Good condition. Newly reupholstered. Solid and sturdy. Marks and wear commensurate with age. An old split (solid) to the bottom of the back splat (see photo).
