Edwardian Mahogany Music Cabinet C.1910

Description

Smart little Edwardian mahogany music cabinet c.1910. Originally intended for storing sheet music, but nowadays popular for filing correspondence and stationery, the drawers are big enough for sheets of A4 paper. Just 20½" wide, with eight drawers with fronts which open automatically as the drawer slides forward to allow easy access to the contents. Raised on square tapering legs with spade feet. Superb quality, the top, sides and drawer fronts with inlaid satinwood crossbanded borders. Solid mahogany drawer linings and back boards. Original handles and ivorine labels to each drawer. Stamped with a registered design number on the rear. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
