A 1900s Waltham Traveler full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 17829467 dates it back to 1909. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. The inner hinged cover is inscribed "A present from America George Parvin from his Grandpa Dec 25th 1903.

The movement is possibly a later replacement due to the date differance.

The watch measures 51.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 14ct gold filled and was made by the Keystone Watch Case Company. Both the front and back of the watch have a beautifully engine turned and hand chased foliate detail, which is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. The acrylic lens is in good condition… the original glass lenses were often replaced with acrylic if they broke as it was much more durable.

The white enamel dial is signed Waltham and is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
