The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a Swiss 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Rotary wings logo.
The watch itself measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1957 together with a case maker's mark for Aaron Dennison of the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific case manufacturer who supplied various watch manufacturers. The case is in good condition with just several short scratches to the back. The lens is in good condition.
Original hands, centre seconds with red pointer end and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes with the original receipt from L H Nash jewellers of London, and it will be sent in a new presentation box.
