Georgian Fruitwood Elbow Chair. Circa 1780

18th century
Description

Fine George III country made fruitwood - probably cherrywood - elbow chair of generous proportions with square back having pierced and reeded splats. Well shaped arms and standing on square legs joined with plain stretchers. Solid wood seat. All in stunning un-touched original condition with no repairs. Wonderful colour with superb waxed patina. A gem.

Size; 35" high, 24" wide, 21" deep.
