The barrel engraved 'LONDON' and finished with feathered engraving. The steel flintlock mechanism engraved for 'TWIGG'. Above a brass trigger guard with floral engraving, the guard straps finished with an acorn finial. The walnut stock with a brass covered butt, and brass pipes for the ram rod.
Date c 1780.
Height 6 1/2 inches, length 29 inches, depth 2 3/4 inches.
