Description

Early 18th.c. elm six plank chest or coffer c.1780. Good example of the form constructed from six elm planks with shaped brackets on the front and shaped detail at the foot. Wrought iron clasp to hold the lid shut. Can also double as a useful little window seat or hall bench with storage. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
