Japanese Meiji Period Shakudo Inlaid Card Case Signed

A splendid Japanese Meiji period mixed-metal card case of rectangular convex form the body in shakudo with a midnight blue colour the case is inlaid with mixed metals including silver & gold depicting two wading egrets with chiselled detail, and another on the reverse. This fine case has a side hinged lid with silver inner rim and is signed on the side; it is in excellent overall condition and measures 4 inches across.
