Renaissance Revival Carved Oak Couch C.1890.

Description

Splendid late 19th.c. Renaissance revival carved oak couch c.1890. Upholstered backrest and carved arms with crisp scrolling acanthus leaf detail on shaped supports over a sprung seat. Raised on an exceptional carved oak base with a leaf pattern frieze, legs with lions masks and claw feet joined with an unusual arrangement of shaped and moulded stretchers. Very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops, clean covers.
