Antique Silver "Double" Chamberstick.

Description

Rare and unusual, silver "double" chamberstick (often known as a "go to bed,") containing candle holders for two candles rather than just the typical single holder. In very pretty foliate design, with a carrying handle to the back; this is of nice easy to carry, manageable size and delicate detail. Wonderful craftsmanship by a fine maker of the period, and a really interesting piece of decorative and collectable silver.
