. Good wide, broad seats crucially retaining their original needle-work covers with a good level of original colours. Raised on square moulded 'Marlborough' pattern forelegs united by an 'H' stretcher.

Serpentine outline front to the seats , the back splats with a shaped 'shoe' to the rear.
In decorative 'country-house' condition. The frames below the seats with interesting estate-made iron-work repairs and the webbing is distressed and loose.
No breaks or repairs to to the chair frames .
The seat covers being rare survivors from the mid eighteenth century.
