Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
The original bevelled swing mirror has an arched top and is flanked by 2 shaped supports pierced with heart/tulip motifs. To the drawers are beautifully shaped drop ring handles and each drawer has a brass lock. It stands on turned legs with its original ceramic casters. In good original condition made from beautifully figured oak with a good warm colour. With label to inside drawer: J Hunter & Co., 16,18 & 28 St. Mary’s Parsonage, Manchester.
