Antique Sterling Silver and Tortoise Shell Photo Frame -- 1898

Description

A quite wonderful upright photograph frame with an aperture measuring 4 3/4" x 3" awaiting your favourite picture.

Each corner of solid or sterling silver is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1898 together with the makers mark CPB for Charles Penny Brown.

The frame is blessed with a glossy piece of antique tortoiseshell with a highly decorative continuous silver pique inlay all around.

The back is beautiful made from solid English Oak wood and stands on it's original folding easel stand.

Measuring 5 3/4" x 3 7/8"; Superb condition.
