Large Engraved Nelson Commemorative Goblet

1900 - 1920
Description

A very high quality and important size Nelson commemorative goblet engraved with a portrait bust of Admiral Lord Nelson within a laurel wreath, the Trafalgar inscription “England expects that every man this day will do his duty” and other motifs, the bowl raised on a baluster stem and a conical foot.

This huge glass was made to commemorate 100 years since Nelson’s death in 1805 at the battle of Trafalgar.
