Description

A Superior quality burr walnut Victorian Period antique pedestal desk. The rectangular top with a fine quality olive green gilt and blind tooled leather writing insert and a beautifully figured burr walnut border and moulded edge. The front of the desk with an arrangement of nine mahogany lined drawers with fine quality brass drawer pulls. The reverse, sides and internal panels also veneered in the finest burr walnut showing the quality of this desk. Supported on a burr walnut plinth with concealed brass castors. English circa 1860-1870

Dimensions: 54" wide x 27" deep x 29" high (knee hole 24" high x 20" wide)

Condition: This desk is in superb condition
