A Superb Quality Burr Walnut Victorian Period Antique Bookcase

Description

A Superb Quality burr walnut Victorian Period antique bookcase. The upper section has a double stepped moulded cornice above three glazed doors opening to reveal an adjustable shelved interior. The lower section with an arrangement of three rectangular drawers and two panelled cupboards enclosing shelved interiors. The whole supported on a rectangular plinth, veneered throughout from the finest burr walnut veneers layered onto mahogany a sign of the quality of this piece. Superb original warm colour and patination. English circa 1870

Dimensions: 96" high x 76" wide x 13" deep at the top x 20" deep at the bottom

Condition: This bookcase is in excellent original condition, cleaned and waxed
