Description

A 19th Century Walnut Console Table.

The top with a slight overhand, and chamfered underside, above a frieze drawer, with brass mount of The Goddess Flora in a chariot pulled by Putti. The tablet ends of the frieze mounted with floral maidens above tapering columns, with satinwood ring caps and bases. The base with a spreading floral mount, flanked to either end by round turrets, tapering under to form a cup foot.

Date c 1840.

Height 37 1/2 inches, width 34 inches, depth 18 inches.
