Oak Joint Stool C.1810

19th century
Description

Early 19th.c. oak joint stool c.1810. Fine example of the form with a single piece top with rounded edge raised on four turned and block legs joined with low stretchers. Solid oak throughout, pegged construction. The top is riven around a knot in the timber and there is old damage to a couple of the the corners. Good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
