Georgian Mahogany Bachelor’s Chest C.1790.

Description

George III mahogany bachelor’s chest of drawers c.1790. Useful small proportions, just 37" wide. Solid mahogany top with an applied thumb moulding over four long drawers of graduated depth, the top drawer being divided into three sections. With an oak brushing slide above the drawers. Cockbeaded drawer fronts with original brass swan neck handles. Shaped bracket feet front and rear. Mahogany drawer linings and original deal backboards. Excellent condition and lovely mellow colour, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
