A 1930s Bernex Stem Winding Pocket Watch.

Description

A 1930s Bernex stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed Bernex, 15 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has a small "ding" to the centre of the back and light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The signed dial is in beautiful condition and has ornate blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
