Description

A 19th Century Oak Porters Chair.

The arched top with a stepped facing, descending to rounded shaped wings, and raised hand holds. The sides with arched tops, and clover leaf decoration, the sides finished to the bottom with an ogee edged plinth rail. The seat, within the canopy body with a hinged centre, opening to a box below, the box edged with a fielded panel. The interior of the canopy with elbow rails, and rounded corners.

Height 69 inches, width 30 inches, depth 29 inches.
