Rue des Fontenelles has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
It also has four useful drawers with an elegant inlay around each of the drawers and desk panel. There are two keys and bronze escutcheons and all of the locks are in good working order. (The marble has been professionally restored)
The secretaire dates from the first half of the 19th century - circa 1830 - 1850.
