Description

A fine 19th century Chinese elm side table. The table consists of two drawers a pot board and decorative carved and fretted spandrels. The table was once entirely ebonised but due to plentiful use over its life time , it has developed a lovely cruddy patina where the black lacquer has worn away to reveal the grain of the elm. This is a fantastic table and in excellent condition.
