This is an elegant, and larger than most, piece of country House Furniture, the upright brass rails are alternately smooth and twisted, the low centre is supported with round brass knobs and the bottom rail of the fender has a sliding feature that allows it to be extended by pulling out from the sides
(internally it is 84” long and 20” deep
When closed it is 78” at the outside and and 71” interior
