Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Davenport Desk C1890

Description

Quality antique late victorian mahogany davenport desk c1890

This is a lovely quality antique late victorian mahogany davenport desk and dating from aorund 1890. It has a carved galleried back which opens to reveal a pen & ink tray. It has a dark green leather writing slope which opens for storage space and it stands on lovely turned supports to the front with moulded panel to the back. To one side there are four false drawers and to the other side are four drawers all of which are mahogany lined and all drawer fronts have original brass handles. It stands on lovely turned feet on castors.

This is a lovely antique late victorian mahogany davenport desk and in very good condition with a lovely colour and deep original patination and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase. The leather to the writing slope is in good used condition but frayed to the edges.

Measurements: 36" high to gallery X 24" to knee height X 21" deep X 21" wide
