Antique victorian pine blanket box with false chest front & original mahogany shellac c1880

This is a lovely quality antique victorian pine blanket box and dating from aorund 1880. Constructed form solid pine with its original mahogany shellac finish. It has a squared edge to the lift up lid above a set of three false drawer fronts all with original turned knob handles and stands on lovely turned feet.

It has the most fascinating manufacturers label on the back for summers bros. Cabinet makers and upholsterers adding to the interest of this lovely chest which is in very good condition with a lovely colour and years of patination to the shellac and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 33" high X 20" deep X 36" wide
