Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The bow fronted body tapering slightly to a canted edged plinth base, standing on four ball and claw brass feet. The body mounted to the sides with shell decorated ring handles. The whole inlaid with ebony strung edging.
Date c 1840.
Height 14 inches, width 11 1/2 inches, depth 9 inches.
