Description

Lovely antique early george 11 country oak coffer c1740

This is a lovely antique early george 11 oak coffer and dating from aorund 1740. Constructed from solid oak it has a three plank top with moulded edge and with a superb geometric panelled false drawer front with later brass handles and escutcheons. It has panelled sides and original rough hewn panelled back. It is supported on short squared legs.

It is hand & peg joined

A lovely original antique early george 11 coffer now with good colour and original patination to the oak. It is in very good condition oozing the charm and character of the period and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 25" high X 23" deep X 48" wide
