Loveday Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
Having beautifully pronounced shaped scrolling arms and shaped breakfront edge this fine chesterfield has been recently upholstered in a very good quality deep buttoned hand-dyed leather hyde, dating to circa 1860-1870.
Definitely made by a good cabinet maker of the 19th Century as both the quality and design are first class, having a good heavy frame with a desirable breakfront.

A superb quality chesterfield having the sought after rare scrolling arms upholstered in a stunning hand dyed leather which has faded to the lovely tan/brown colour with brass studwork.
A very desirable chesterfield to any private individual with a discerning eye or collector alike.
