The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
Small blue flowers are applied to the strap intersections on the outside and the foot is incised to create a rope twist effect. Both fully marked with crossed swords for c.1765-1770.

They measure 18cm (7") wide across the handles and 16.5cm (6 1/2") wide rim to rim and 9.5cm (3 3/4") high to the handles.
Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration bar a small chip to one of the green leaves forming the handle terminal. Very light surface wear but a small loss to the gilding on the rim of one and 2 small (3mm) firing lines.
