Magnificent Victorian silverplated tureen suite, comprising of a lidded soup tureen and a pair of matching sauce tureens, each bearing a crest. In Geo.III Adam style, of oval/navette plain body, each on an oval collet foot, leaf scroll twin handles and urn-shaped finial to the lid. These fabulous neo-classical design pieces are of the highest quality, and fully marked by a fine manufacturer. The condition of the plating is perfect and any dark marks in the photographs are purely camera reflection. The maker's marks were registered and used between 1864 and 1893 and we date these particular items at c.1880. A real splash for the dining table and very pleasing to the eye for decorative purposes.
