Pair Scottish Regency Rosewood Pole Screens. Circa 1830

19th century
Description

Pair Scottish late regency rosewood pole screens with carved oblong framed banners containing wonderful petit point needlework pictures of soldiers on prancing horses. The bases of the screens finely turned with shaped enrichments and standing on shaped triform bases with carved paw feet. Both in fine un-touched original condition with no breaks. Lovely rich dark colour with fine waxed patina.

Size; 60" high overall, 16" wide bases. Banners 22" x 20"
