Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 1930s.
An unusual shape, with angled corners it has 1 large drawer flanked by 2 smaller drawers, all with brass drop handles (not original) and bookcase sides with shelves. A good quality piece in good condition. To the inside of the drawer is label for the department store: “Elliston & Cavell Ltd Oxford”.

Good condition. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Small piece of veneer missing to side, small dent to one corner otherwise very good. Good colour and patina. The pedestals screw in to the base.
