A large Japanese Meiji period bronze okimono of a cow Elephant depicted on the move with her mouth open in the process of raising her trunk in a show of power. This animated bronze is beautifully detailed and is finished with a lovely realistic skin, it is in excellent condition and measures 17 ½ inches in length.
