Description

Unusual late 19th.c. carved oak bookshelves c.1890. At just 8" deep it is ideal for a hallway or anywhere where space is an issue. With three shelves and one useful long drawer. Shaped top rail, drawer front and sides all carved with a dense pattern of large foliate forms. Tall bracket feet, also carved, shaped at the rear to fit over a tall skirting. Very good condition with original brass handles. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
