Description

A wonderful traveling inkwell dating to around 1870, in the form of a one pound weight with the ring handle to the top.

I haven't had one of these for several years, when I see them they are usually missing the removable ink chamber, this one is thankfully intact.

The push button to the front is used to open the inkwell, in full working order as is the hinge to the rear.

A wonderful figural collectible in excellent condition. The base diameter measures 2" and the inkwell stands 3 1/2" including ring handle.
