Description

A fabulous desk-top accessory, this solid cast brass letter opener dates to around 1900, with the makers mark stamped on the underside, I have not been able to identify the manufacturer.

Beautifully cast, the handle is formed by two handsome dog heads each retaining a glass eye, the heads lead to an English Oak leaf design.

Excellent condition measuring 10 1/4" x 1 1/4".
