The drawer fronts are veneered in walnut with herringbone banding. With triple reeded canted corners and pine sides scumbled to imitate oak. The lower section having a brushing slide and three rectangular graduating oak lined drawers veneered in walnut with herringbone banding and again with pine scumbled sides. The whole supported on the original shaped bracket feet. English circa 1720-1740

Condition: This chest on chest is in pretty much original condition, the escutcheons have been replaced and the handles are later 18th Century oval handles with different handles to the top and bottom. Some minor extinct woodworm to the original feet. Cleaned and waxed
