Description

A superb example of a late Victorian Jewellery box dating to around 1890.

The box was a top-notch example in it's day with tell tale signs of luxury from the quality English Bramah lock (alas, no key), the three layers with two removable trays, and the quality cast metal hinges.

Of course this is a special example clad in rich cognac coloured crocodile or alligator skin with an inset polished brass handle to the gently domed lid.

Perfect for either a lady or gentleman, this grand and extravagant piece is sure to please.

Excellent condition, and measuring 10" x 7 1/4" x 5 1/2" tall.
